Ukrainian defenders successfully intercepted and destroyed russian Privet-82 kamikaze drone using the FPV drone developed by the Wild Hornets company. Fighters from the Bulava unit carried out the strike, footage of which was shared on their Telegram channel.

The video captures Ukrainian drone closing in on its russian target in mid-air, leading to a powerful explosion. While the exact model of Ukrainian drone remains unspecified, it is known to be a product of the Wild Hornets, a company that specializes in high-speed UAVs.

Russian Privet-82 drone is part of series developed by St. Petersburg-based OKO design bureau. First deployed in June 2023, the Privet-82 unit is a fixed-wing FPV drone capable of carrying 5.5 kg of explosives, reaching speeds of 140 km/h, and covering distances of up to 30 km. Built from inexpensive components, russia claims it can produce up to 100 of these drones daily. Another variant, the Pryvit-82R, features a redesigned structure for extended reconnaissance missions.
