Ever since the liberation of Kherson, Ukraines Armed Forces have been trying to cross the river and gain foothold on the left bank of the Dnipro: A dangerous and deadly undertaking, with a lot of the area being swampy marshlands. But still, Ukrainian forces have managed to gain small footholds, like in the village of Krynky. In this video, we want to explain the fight for the Dnipro, show examples of how and where Ukrainian troops have crossed in the past days and what makes this environment so difficult.
