The Russian plant Novatek, which was attacked by Ukrainian drones on the Baltic coast, may resume work in a few weeks or months. This is reported by Reuters with reference to analysts of Russian analysts.
Analysts believe that the Novatek company will be able to resume large-scale operations at its processing complex in Ust-Luz and the terminal in the Baltic Sea within several weeks or even months. The UAV attack disrupted the flow of Russian oil to Asia.
“We believe the plant will likely return to significant capacity within weeks or, at worst, months.” – Reuters quotes analysts of the Moscow brokerage company BCS.
The Novatek plant said it was forced to suspend some operations at the huge export terminal in the Baltic Sea and at the complex.
The so-called Russian media reported that two storage tanks and a pumping station were damaged as a result of the UAV strike.
The “Novatek” complex annually receives about 7 million metric tons of gas condensate for processing. It is processed into oil, gas oil and aviation fuel, in particular for Russian warplanes.
Investbank “Sinara” stated that a quarter of Novatek’s revenues may suffer due to this incident.
