According to the British media, Lithuania Latvia and Estonia express great dissatisfaction due to the fact that they will not be physically present at the peak in London. This is strange all the more so because they are most exposed to actions from Russia on NATO’s eastern flank.

The source of British television Sky News has noticedthat “Moscow will pay attention to the exclusion of three Baltic states from the conversations.” “Russia and our society clearly assess that the US, but also Great Britain and France sold us,” added the diplomat. The head of the Estonian Parliament’s foreign committee Marko Mihkelson noted that the Baltic states, which are in the “high risk” group and such unjustified exclusion of them from conversations is not optimistic in any way.

According to the Plan presented by Starmer’s office, the British prime minister is expected to conduct a teleconference with the leaders of the Baltic countries on Sunday morning.

“The Baltic States are in the risk group and I think that in this context it is absolutely inevitable for us to be present at these meetings. I know that our diplomats are working on this, but this situation is not optimistic now and I don’t like it personally, “Err Marko Mihkelson emphasized in an interview with Estonian television.

According to the British government’s statement, on Sunday there will be a peak in London with the leaders of Poland, France, Germany, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Finland, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Romania and Turkey.

The meeting is also to be attended by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, chairwoman of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and chairman of the European Council Antonio Costa. The topic of the meeting will be Ukraine and the security of the continent. In turn, today there will also be a meeting of Prime Minister of Starmer with President Zelnski.
